Sometimes referred to as Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot the ace rapper of Chicago Illinois, started gaining recognition after he started releasing tracks on YouTube. His first singles were the Come Up and never Cared. The rapper made his SoundCloud debut with OFFICIAL polo.g SoundCloud. Gang With Me was his first chart-topping single, followed by the album Finer Things. Finer Things was written when the singer was incarcerated. The single was his debut and he was able to get million of YouTube views. Then, record labels began showing an interest in his music. He agreed to a distribution agreement in partnership with Columbia Records and released Pop Out featuring Lil Tjay. The single received millions of views on YouTube. In addition the song ranked 22nd on Billboard Hot 100. Polo G gained fame on YouTube and other social media sites like Instagram as well as Twitter.
