Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February 1964. She is an American actor best known for her talent in portraying powerful characters that are fragile. Linney was born into a theatre-loving family. Her father, Romulus Linney was a writer. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) located in New York City in 1990. The actress began performing on Broadway as soon as she arrived, and was later awarded praise for her performances in Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
