Amanda Elizabeth Righetti is an American actor and producer. Her fame was due to her role as an agent named Grace Van Pelt in CBS the police procedural drama "The Mentalist.". Righetti was raised in Utah and has always wanted to be a performer. In the fourth year of her life, the actress began dancing. Her first big-screen appearance was the 1995 movie "Love and Joy". in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation the film, she made her debut on television as an CBS guest-star. Righetti started off her career as a model when she was 14 years old. A few years later, she made the move from New York to Los Angeles and continued to take on small roles but with significant significance prior to her being cast as the character of recurring Hailey Nichol in Fox's teen drama 'The O.C.'. Righetti performed in the 2009 horror movie "Friday the 13th", the superhero movie "Captain America - The First Avenger", the soap opera 'North Shore' as well as the dramatic show "Reunion.'
